About
John Merlo - a little about myself
Let me introduce myself, I grew up straight out of school on the tools in the construction industry in the civil sector, I became a subcontractor and later a major south-east Queensland subcontractor. I’ve delivered projects throughout South East Queensland and Victoria.
I started my career in law in 1998 and in 2010 I obtained my Master of Laws, specialising in construction law. I’ve assisted clients Australia wide on all levels of construction matters both in drafting and in dispute resolution.
I’m a father of four, I own two jugs (Jack Russell pugs). I’ve always been an avid outdoorsmen. Having worked outside for the majority of my life I find it very difficult to be indoors for too long and I work mobile just as I did in construction.
