In this matter I acted for a major national builder in relation to a claim by a major insurance company, that it had breached its contract, and was terminated. The matter involved damages including it had breached its contract, and was terminated. of significance, the matter involves the application of ancient iterations of building codes and regulations from the time the heritage building was originally constructed. I engaged Australia’s foremost expert in the area and successfully defended the client and reported the insurance Giants claims. I also prevented my client from being sued and obtained payments for my clients in relation to outstanding construction work.
